July 1, 2018 - Red, a bit of umber at edges in glass. Muted on opening, red fruit, plum, earth. Opened up nicely after about 30 minutes, fresher red fruit, some herb, rose/floral notes, a bit of tobacco. Tannin and acid are well balanced, and integrated. Moderate depth, length. Latter part of bottle seemed a tad flat and palate went a bit muddy. I'd say drink up.

March 25, 2015 - Popped and poured. Nice nebbiolo Langhe. Pretty clear ruby to the core a bit warm with alcohol on the nose but fruit comes through after a moment. Acid, alcohol, tannin and fruit a little disjointed at first but settled down after 30 minutes. This is a nice school night wine, that will deliver pretty nebbiolo reasonably priced.

February 25, 2015 - Good solid nebbiolo, not real complex or refined, just well-made wine in good balance betwee tannin, fruit and acid, hard fruits and leather and spice.

January 26, 2015 - Wine Education Service - Italy - Piemonte (LSE): Fairly light, a hint of orange at the rim, translucent.
Fruity nose with a bit of development, delightful.
Very drinkable, soft fruit, gentle mid palate, quite long.

May 20, 2014 - Opened and poured without decanting. Evolved modestly after 1-2 hours in the glass. Dark with stewed prune and unusually grape-y flavors. Higher in acid and tannin than the 2010. There is some undeniable flab and looseness in the way the fruit flavors combine with the structure. I would drink now through 2015. Overall, very nice for an every day nebbiolo.
