October 18, 2019 - Delicious rendition of Cabernet Franc. Balanced, long, ready but will last. This is a tremendous property.

July 13, 2015 - Delicious, such a good representation of Cabernet Franc. A thick and luxurious mouthfeel with earthy notes of leather asian spice, earth and bark but of course a nice helping of soft and chewy deep seductive fruit.

March 2, 2015 - Really enjoyed this wine, the tannins and mouthfeel just do it for me, plenty of grip and energy. I'm a big fan of PV, great producer.

December 30, 2014 - Dark garnet. Ripe nose of plums, cinnamon, cloves, and bark. Dense flavor and smooth feel on the mid-palate, with soft acids, peppery afternotes. Long finish. 50+16+16+7. [Interesting shift in ratings here; I have a new system which is stingier on the overall points out of 10, with 5 being neutral.]

September 23, 2014 - Pyramid Valley tasting with Claudia Weersing: Chocolate, graphite, undergrowth and smoke with roses and earth in the background, this is quite complex and interesting. Restrained on the palate, definitely in the savoury spectrum, with good acidity and a lovely length. A step up from the 2010.

July 16, 2014 - Opaque ruby. Complex spicy enticing nose of earth, violets, and plums. Perfumed fruit on the palate with smooth tannins and lilting acids. Crisp medium finish. A lovely wine. 55+13+16+9.
