August 6, 2023 - Very dark ruby tending to purple. Forward nose of black fruit with herbal and earthy notes. The palate was balanced, refined, tannins barely perceivable. Moderately long finish. Very drinkable not and will hold here for few years. Not sure that it will get any better.

November 21, 2021 - Nose of undergrowth and hints of blue fruit, lovely blue fruit with some stems and splashes of acid, a well rounded wine and probably at it's peak

December 20, 2019 - Slow Ox for 4 hours before a 2 hours dinner. Just inside the drinking window; medium body, good nose and strong aftertaste. A very enjoyable wine, which can still benefit from further aging. Drink and hold.

March 7, 2018 - Opened 10 hours bottle breathed before serving into normal Burgundy glass ("Fruit" day): Medium ruby with slight purplish hues. Cool and restrained black fruits, nose did not fully open up during the tasting period.

On the palate indeed quite youthfully austere but a very good amount of dry extracts and underlying materials. To be observed over longer term.

1 full day upon opening into Zalto Burgundy glass ("Leaf" day): Cool black bramble fruits, blackberries and currants notes on the nose. A touch of spice too. Quite a good depth to the aromas and revealing more layers of sweet spices and dried herbs.

Very refined and classic on the palate. Suave, ripe tannins that only builds up over a few sips. Matched with good acidity though for a wine this young I have expected a little higher.

Good length with a slightly bitter finish. Drinkable now but clearly needs a lot more time in cellar. 90-91 points for this showing.

    March 5, 2017 - 2oz pour at Rebelle

Bright, tight, high toned fruit. Quite closed now. Needs a good bit of time but should be very nice

March 1, 2017 - 2 oz pour. No decant. I liked this. Last sip was best. Profound cherry. Very pure. Subtle tannic structure. Some earth tones, but this is about the purity of the fruit.
