January 28, 2019 - Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. Heavily bricked, oxidative and "raisiny". Also some VA/balsamic...seemed pretty well shot to me.

  • Lou Lefteroff Likes this wine: 92 points

March 18, 2018 - Decanted and enjoyed straight away, needed 15 min to start shine and was excellent throughout dinner - about 3hrs.
Tertiary aromas all over, tobacco being dominant, fascinating, I could smell it for hours. In the mouth - chieseled acidity, vibrant, mid weighted, savory, really good with food.
Very good job here at decent price, it is fully matured but will keep at least for another 5y.

May 5, 2017 - Medium red with orange and brown tones. Not as mature a nose as the Château Gloria 2000 drunk alongside. Crisp fresh and vibrant. Still quite tannic. After 2-3 hours this developed a wonderful softness and added real weight to become a very full wine. Years left. Drink now to 2025+
