November 28, 2021 - Similar to last notes, but certainly less rustic. The smoke has faded into the background and more light sweet fruit character is emerging. This continues to be both more integrated and refined, yet still delicious. This is really an incredible value from Stefania and seems to be improving. Since that's two this year, will need to wait a few before opening another.

August 22, 2021 - Decanted off its sediment half an hour before supper. Lifted and bright, with black cherry, candied raspberry, licorice and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, with flavors of cherry and licorice, with a good finish. In a great place right now.

March 18, 2021 - Lots of rustic character here, with smoky Syrah seemingly playing a stronger role at this point. Nice mix of dark red fruits, some bramble, and spice. Still plenty of refined tannins for a medium to long finish. Will keep for another five years.

January 28, 2018 - My second bottle of 6 purchased. Thin and acidic like the previous bottle. Not sure what the appeal is for those rating this high. Nice aromas, but for me it ends there.

May 13, 2017 - Popped & poured with smoked beef brisket. Aromas of pepper, cherry and red berry fruit. Very bright and lively aromatics. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced, flavors of cherry, candied raspberry and spice. The red berry fruit and spice notes remain strong on the finish. Revisiting this a little later on in the evening, and it has developed dark fruit qualities but maintains the candied raspberry- just lovely. Drinking so very well right now.

January 12, 2017 - Beautiful wine. There might be a touch of VA in there, but sometimes I don't mind that. Candied but also deep, juicy, long finish.

November 20, 2014 - Delicious bottle again, held up for several nights in the fridge. Very succulent, drinks so easily while being quite complex.

May 31, 2014 - 4th Saturday Group brown bagger (M/M thelostverse): Notes of macerated strawberry, florals and dark fruit. Black raspberry and floral qualities on the palate. Finishes very well, as did the last bottle, with lingering dark fruit and herbal qualities. Double blind, Mrs. TLV liked it this time around, however Domino still did not...good...the last four bottles are mine.
