  June 13, 2023 - Our last bottle, and I wish I’d have saved it to open with a few friends or at least with Domino as it’s showing beautifully. Deep mature color. Notes of lemon curd, hazelnut and honeycomb. Beautiful mature chard fruit on the palate- apple and fig- along with lemon curd and baked tangerine, picking up honeycomb flavors in the finish. Reminds me slightly of a mature Meursault. As it breathes and warms in the glass everything just goes to eleven. An absolutely gorgeous example, and my only regret is that no one else is here to enjoy this with me.

  February 11, 2023 - Our penultimate bottle, opened as I started preparing dinner and followed over 90 minutes or so. Looks mature but not too golden- a good sign. The palate and bouquet are nearly perfectly aligned featuring an abundance of Jonagold apple along with jasmine, mineral, spice and just the slightest hint of butterscotch. Delightful. 91 for me, 90 for Domino.

  August 24, 2014 - Good body with nice aromas, more moderate aromas leaning towards fresh/herbal, what I taste in Champagne, some oak still noticeable. Nothing funky or weird about this. Well done, and consumed in support for the Bay area earthquake this morning.
