March 3, 2024 - At Mashomack with Renee Gerry Elsie Taylor Tommy. After Crocker and Star cab butthis was super elegant and balanced. Yummy

October 25, 2023 - A fine but not overly complex Walla Wally Cab from Gramercy. Nice cassis and Rainier cherry with a slight hint of leather and spice. Good acidity and the tannins have mellowed into a soft down duvet. It seems to be more of a food Cabernet. Nothing flawed, but it just lacked a certain character to make it stand out. Perhaps thats the point

July 19, 2020 - Super enjoyable, tastes like it just entered it's prime drinking window, wish I had another for a few years later. Perfect match with grilled prime ribeye, creamed spinach, twice baked potatoes. Everything tasted nicely integrated, not the most powerful WA cab but among the most delicious and food friendly I've had. Should have decanted, not for the bit of sediment but for air, last glass changed for the better.

June 9, 2020 - 2011 Washington Wines: Informal tasting with friends of four Washington wines from the challenging 2011 vintage.

Medium ruby – grass, green bell pepper, dark cherry. Medium- acid, medium tannins, 13.9% ABV, medium- body, medium- finish. We preferred Gramercy's Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

May 8, 2020 - No formal notes. Impressive for 2011, but still a 2011. Nice, terroir-driven savory-forward aromas and flavors, relatively refined tannin. The issue is the acid, which is a little sharp and tips the wine just slightly out of balance. Regardless, it's enjoyable, especially with food. I think it's probably in its sweet spot right now, I'd consume it within the year.
