January 6, 2024 - The cork was almost stucked in the bottle, hard to get out. Smaller pop, the glass is quite cloudy and coloured deep orange pink, the gas is still little active.

The taste has a medium bodied style and acid, followed in the middle with raspberry and strawberry. On the finish is lime and flint stone.

Close to its peak, should be drinked ASAP.

April 29, 2023 - Stunning and for me even more enjoyable that the white version from the same vintage. Superlative mousse for age and a lovely saturated pink color with a hint of tawny. Very rosé in style with its cherry and strawberry notes. Almost impossibly young in flavor but plenty of aged but not stewed fruit character. Held quite well over the evening.

September 24, 2022 - Second bottle in 2 years. Medium effervescence. Muted at first, with little discernible nose and a light nutty a palate. Over time more layered nuance showed, clearly benefiting from air. Really nice structured orange marmalade with nutty brioche, hints of red berry and minerally tar. Perhaps a bit lithe, but not showing any oxidative notes or cellar funk.

October 30, 2021 - Gorgeous reddish pink. Palate quite lively, aromatics not giving much.

February 21, 2021 - Remarkably deep orange pink color and pretty bead and couronne. There’s a pleasant but shy aroma of red fruit and ice. Impactful on the palate. Unfortunately the nice red fruit flavor only lasts for 15-20 minutes and a more austere and stony character predominates. Nevertheless it’s complex and quite enjoyable and far from from lifeless.

February 23, 2020 - Suprisingly youthful. Good mousse and structure with a showing of wild strawberry, bread dough and mouth coating framboise. A beauty and well worth seeking out. Out of 750.

December 4, 2019 - Holiday Dinner - Champ, Keller, Hermitage Blanc, Barolo and Bordeaux (Bourbon Steak, Washington D.C.): Fully mature vinous nose displaying decadent slightly dry red fruit, raspberry soda, strawberry tart, brioche, sous bois, light caramel, toffee and limestone. Perfectly integrated palate, beautifully layered subtle warm and round red fruit, very fine but scarce mousse, still showing good energy, freshness and precision, perfect amount of acidity, strong mineral and a seamless long subtle yet decadent red fruit driven finish. This is very Burgundian, like drinking a perfectly mature Chambolle.

October 23, 2019 - What a treat. This was a great experience. 2 hours in it just blossomed into a glorious expression of elegance. Wish I had more. It was a great contrast to the'96 Grand Dame we had as well.
