  July 5, 2022 - Decanted for 90 minutes. Very nice, not sure I can refer to this CS as Aged, even though it’s 12 years old, as I think it probably still had years ahead of it, I’d call it “Mature”. Lots of big dark fruit, plum, oak, earth, and vanilla. Very common Napa CS characteristics. Nicely balanced, with texture, but it leave you wanting at the end. Not a very long finish at all, maybe 30 seconds? Was expecting more. All in all, I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in this. Was expecting more based on the pedigree of the vineyard. And, as I finish writing this, I can't help but wonder if I may have waited too long for these (I still have 1 more)? 🤔

  April 3, 2020 - In a very nice place, heart of its drinking window. Deep colors, black fruit flavors, medium-long finish. Not spectacular, but very nice. Little bit of decanting, around an hour.

  December 7, 2019 - The nose says aged Napa cab, but this drinks far older than it really is. I would have pegged it as a 20 year old Napa cab, not 9. Tannins are non-existent, no acidity to be found, and the fruit is pretty much gone. Very surprising to me that it's already past prime at 9 years old. Disappointing representation of To-Kalon.
