September 10, 2014 - Nose of strawberry and a hint of cocoa.
On the palate, it's very unusual: creamy, memoirs of birthday cake, sweet cherries, and an atypical sweetness.
After 2 hours, the favors matured into more of a typical Pinot profile. I would suggest future drinkers savor it both immediately and after an hour or two to experience both dimensions.

December 27, 2013 - Third tasting of this wine, by the glass, which explains the initial acetic notes. It didn't take long, however for the charms of this unusual pinot noir to show up, and for its complex favors to absorb my attention.
In many ways this pinot is atypical, as in its fuller but still medium body, dense color and jammy fruit. However, it maintains pinots' silky texture, soft tannins and freshness. Seductive nose and taste of sweet spice, grilled steak, dried cherry and many other flavors continue to entertain you to the unavoidable end of the glass.
