July 1, 2019 - Fresh and crunchy, with loads of high-toned minerality. This should continue to evolve for at least a few more years.

December 20, 2015 - Austere and a little thin-textured at first, this became exuberant and fresh after an hour or so in the decanter. Alpine, savoury, more refreshing, refined and gentle than any other Savoie Mondeuse I've drunk, although the tannins did then clamp down a few hours later.

October 13, 2014 - Quite pleasant with high toned peppery and more savoury earthy elements framing bright red and dark fruited flavours. Not particularly complex, but very easy to drink and quite refreshing on the palate with gentle tannins and a bright acid spine.

September 20, 2014 - For SFJoe (Josefa & Mark's House - Chicago, IL): I hadn't had a Mondeuse in a while. Boy these are good. Has the weight of a gamay and the meatiness of a syrah. I've really only dug into Belluard's sparkling wines so this was a real treat. I bet this will get better with 4-6 years aging.
