November 30, 2014 - A wine with some character and lots of depot in the bottle. Quite ripe, spicy bouquet with some brett. The wine is quite chewy with a lot of tannins left. As you can read, the wine leaves me a little baffled, but it's more interesting than most of your everyday wines.

July 17, 2011 - Hmmm. Tasted it side by side with the 03 and unfortunately it was clearly over prime, whilst the 03 felt like peaking (knowing this I'll be sure to drink the last 7 bottles I have soon :-)

Anyone wants my last 10 2004s? Stupid question I know

April 29, 2010 - Consistent with last note. Very nice wine. Not overdone at all. For a Syrah, the wine is more intellectual than one might expect. Refined.

April 12, 2010 - A very classy mid-weight syrah. Lovely fruit and good structure to age 10 years. Quite clean and pure (no barnyard/brett here). Some baking spices and garrigue. Firm finish. Good acid.

November 6, 2009 - Color is dark red with a discrete yellow hue to the rim. Charming nose, initially dominated by dark cherries and roses, darkening up and turning into black currant, lavender and garrigue. Later fruit cake, milk chocolate and assorted wild berries. Palate is dense, yet soft, modeled around a string of well balanced acidity. The wine is drinking very well now, but should stay on top the next 5 years. Very nice indeed.
