February 16, 2024 - Nez Incroyable, bouche incroyable, visiblement je suis sans mots
June 17, 2022 - Served blind, guessed Northern Rhone & Hermitage, thought from 90s, beautiful complex nose, in a lovely spot, opened an hour & half before drinking, with air got bigger & fresher, at 3 hour mark the nose is pure Pinot, sublime
November 28, 2021 - Very fine wine.
No formal note taken but delicious.
November 27, 2020 - Good, nicely developed and ready but long life ahead.
January 1, 2020 - Tasted over two days - slightly better one the second day, where it gains richesse. Starting with plenty of herbs, it becomes darker, olives galore, shows some roasted character, very much a La Landonne. Approachable now, but no harm in keeping it five years or more, I think.

May 18, 2019 - (Blind tasting)
Medium-fullish nose. Good depth. Violets, raspberries, sweet cherry. But also tertiary notes of spice, rubber and minerality. Not oaky.
Medium-fullish, balanced palate. Spicy with red cherry and blackberry. Indish spice. Long, elegant and fresh. Harmonious.
This bottle provided much better experience than some other tasters have reported on.
August 16, 2018 - Olives, ripe cherry, almost ripe prunes, caramel, hidden hint of herbs and rose, finished with a centered acidity. Smooth and lean but without too much power; rather bland and loose on the palate.
July 16, 2018 - Nose had olives, white pepper, leather and prunes. Palate was on the lean side with hint of oxidative note due to the hot vintage according to the somm at Locanda Lucatelli. Drinking at peak.
November 30, 2015 - Just entering maturity, this opened quite light, very 2004; lean, almost, with minerals and olives and yes, some bright acidity in the center. On day 2, it has grown, it is much broader and richer, the oak is showing, but there is also a tiny (oh, so tiny) suggestion of prunes, so maybe this wine really needs decanting – a consumption in the same night. Freshness is intact, though, and it will keep 5+ years without problems.
November 30, 2013 - Medium red colour. Nose with red berries including red currants, discrete herbal notes, slightly flowery. Palate with tart red berries, cranberries and red currants, prominent acidity, rather noticeable medium(+) tannins. Tart profile with some elegance. Developed, but still rather young on the palate, 91 p.
