December 26, 2022 - It made a night and day difference with the LBVs I had lately. Focus, precision, clarity and elegance, red fruits and dark chocolate. At times I felt it was overpowered by the stilton, so not a powerhouse, more on the elegant side.

October 9, 2006 - Had this at the Quinta with the master blender during the For The Love Of Port Harvest Trip w/ Roy Hersh. A huge nose of plums, a touch of tobacco with a touch of young heat. This is a very young a brawny beast that needs lots of time to age. Has plenty of balanced tannins, fruit, and acidity to carry it. The finish never seemed to end.

November 26, 2005 - Lovely floral nose - it almost has some gewurztraminer characteristics! Really good palate. Very floral, delicate style. Good structure. This is going to be ready to start drinking pretty soon - give it two years only for it to start to come into its drinking window.
