July 31, 2016 - Started out little disjointed but gradually pulled together over on hour. Forward nose of cherry and leather with just a touch of sweet strawberry. Once pulled together the palate showed nice balance of sweet fruit and acidity and just a touch mineral and earthy notes. Maybe just a touch past its prime.

May 27, 2014 - Another indication that there no great wines, just bottles. The last one I had less than a year ago was disappointing. This one rocks. Spicy earthy nose, with ripe cherry, quite forward nose. The palate is completely resolved mouth coating with cherry dominating and offset by great acidity. Decent finish. Drink now.

April 18, 2013 - Light color. Nice spicy nose of cherry and earth with some mushrooms. Light-medium bodied, good acidity, earth and minerals, mushrooms with some vegetal notes and cherries. Drink now-2015. 88-89 points.

September 16, 2011 - Brilliant ruby in color, with fading at the edge. On the nose, this is beautiful and vigorous, displaying black and red fruits, flowers, oak, spice, and rich earth. On the palate, this is a bit thin, and lacks some energy as well. The fruit is ripe, acidity is medium-high, and the tannins are fully integrated. This wine finishes with medium length on the palate, and is a bit drying. This bottle was not as good as a previous sample.

February 11, 2011 - Very nice Suchot, very aromatic with dark berries and earthy undertones, Vosne spices and that unique suchot finish. Typical of 2001, very terroir driven, pure but not quite intense. Ready to drink but will definitely improve
