February 14, 2022 - A little muddy/dried bloody at first, but brightened slightly over an hour to show mixed dark fruits, black plum skin, coffee and a touch of sweaty horse blanket. Very enjoyable, but probably a year or so past optimum.

November 25, 2018 - Dark but not opaque purple. Baked cherry pie, oak, and leather nose.
Medium bodied, spiced plums, black cherries, mint, well integrated tannins, honey, smoke, and a finish that goes on and on. Probably the best Mourvedre I've ever had.1 person found this helpful Comment -

Nose was a little shy, but opened up with air and was lovely and intriguing, with savory meat, blood, iron, and some floral notes.
On the palate, this was amazing. A beautiful cacophony of flavors, matching the nose in character, focused and pure, with depth and length and a great energetic acidic flare. Fantastic on its own and, later, with grilled ribeye and drumsticks.
Absolutely loved this. This has come together completely over the last few years, but this should drink well for a long while to come.

March 18, 2018 - Got this from Larry at Falltacular 2015! Delicious black cherry with some spice. Well balanced and a medium to long finish. Went well with not too spicy wings.
