April 4, 2022 - Popped and poured. Now fully mature. Flavors evolving from more lemony flavors to peach and grapefruit. But still clean, pure and delicious. Good acidity and balance.

April 9, 2021 - The last bottle seemed advanced and tired, but this last bottle had good floral elements and really nice balanced peach pithy elements and better balanced acidity as I hope for. Still this is in the drink now category IMO but a well-made serious wine to represent the region.

Color: Light straw yellow Aroma / bouquet: Rich, ripe and in my opinion an atypical bouquet for Sauvignon Blanc. Not the characteristic notes of citrus or boxwood but tart notes of apricot, peach with a hint of vanilla and butter. Taste / Finish: Mouth-filling, ripe Sauvignon Blanc, fresh acidity, mouth-filling and thick-juicy, impressions of stone fruit and pineapple. The serious filling and concentration counterbalance the serious alcohol content (14%) so that there is an impeccable balance and harmony. Impressively long finale. General / potential: Impressively beautiful Sauvignon Blanc that I - if tasted blindly - would certainly have confused with a Chardonnay…. 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Taste / Finish: 17 + Overall / potential: 9 = 92/100

April 11, 2019 - This is so good right now. The nose has floral and mineral notes. The wine is light golden and in a youthful maturity phase. The palate shows flavor of lemon rind, honeydew, herbs and minerals with a wonderful acidic backbone that keeps everything impeccably balanced. There is growing complexity to as more layers of flavor coming into play than I had noticed before. This keeps getting better. Glad I have a few more bottles.

July 20, 2018 - Very good. The nose is loads of grapefruit and minerals. Medium yellow color. Fairly full bodied for a white. Delicious palate with flavors of pomelo, spice and minerals. Concentrated with well integrated oak. This is really delicious and well balanced. But drink up.

June 18, 2018 - There is not much of a nose here but the palate is a pretty white flowers, pomelo, touch of spice. Great balance and acidity. Not going to age or develop any further.

April 26, 2018 - I did not pick up the slight cork taint on the nose that a colleague detected, but the wine was unquestionably flat and one-dimensional, with the fruit virtually shut down and that wonderful glycerined texture absent.

June 19, 2016 - A significant step up from my prior bottle some 18 months ago, as the wine has settled down, rounded out and us simply beautiful. Clean and precise, with lush tropical flavors and a glycerined texture. Killer finish. Once again, Miani performs at a world class level, pure class.

October 7, 2015 - Peaches and faint oaky vanilla on the nose. On the palate, pear, honeysuckle, a bit of salinity, and notes of canteloupe and light vanilla, with moderate acidity and a medium finish. This is well-made and interesting without showing a lot of power. It would be well-priced at $30, but it's twice that cost. Not a rebuy for me.
