    December 17, 2023 - Yummy. Some say simple, I think it is well balanced with nice red fruit and a touch of dosage. Easy and everyone loves it.

    July 16, 2023 - Champagne Cornucopia - DP vs Krug MV (Chez D): Another generous extra, this time from the cellar of Magnum Mike. Clearly a simpler wine but well put together, “refreshing” if that doesn’t count as damning with faint praise, and most welcome at this stage of proceedings.

    June 30, 2023 - Retail $65. 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier. One of my favorite houses that I don’t drink all that much simply because it’s not all that available in the US. And the rosé is even more difficult to find. I was at a restaurant in Austin with my lovely bride and one of our preferred restaurants and not only did they have the rosé, but it was half-off bubbles Thursday (there has to be a better name for that). Salmon color with red berries and, interestingly, a bit of mocha(?). Yeah, weird. The palate is fruity and nice with good acidity and bubbles. Solid.

Funky, a bit sour, and no amount of bread or cheese could offset it. Color was more orange than pink. Batch says 2017. Is that old for this NV?
