March 25, 2018 - Cork was very tight. Cheap corkscrew didn't work well, composite cork broke.
Wine inside was very good though.
No bottle funk, but I thought the oak was more prominent than the fruit.
November 15, 2017 - Rather funky on opening, but opened up nicely and was wonderful on the second night.
December 18, 2016 - This drank even better tonight. Medium ruby color. Sour cherry, tobacco, leather and dried red fruit on the nose. Similar flavors on the palate with a nice mix of fruit and savory, earthy flavors. Medium+ acid, medium tannin and body. Juicy mouthfeel and dry finish. Really dig this and a killer QPR. Wish I had bought more.

September 27, 2016 - Omg, this bottle was absolutely outstanding!
From my first whiff, thru to the last sip, this was 100% enjoyment.
The nose is intoxicating, providing a hint of what's to come.
On the palate it's fresh and bright, mouth-coating citrusy acidity, with a combination of strawberry and cherry fruit flavors.

September 16, 2016 - This was a great bottle.
August 30, 2016 - Popped and poured. A bit of sour funk on the nose that blew off with some air. Sour cherry, leather, flowers in dirt on the nose. On the palate this wine was a bit acidic at first but once it was drank with food, it showed great. Sour and dried cherry notes with earthy undertones. High acidity, medium tannins. I dig this wine and solid QPR. Perfect pairing for tomato based dishes.

There was a glass left in the bottle overnight.
It was just as good as the night before.
