January 7, 2016 - Medium garnet in color with transparency. Aromas of earth, tar, and cherry. Light to medium body, medium to med(+) acidity, medium finish, fairly unobtrusive, but lightly gritty tannins, a somewhat fruity constitution (not flabby though), and flavors of high toned red fruits like cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate, along with some red apple skin, black tea, and bitter orange peel.
