August 30, 2022 - Wow! Absolute knock-out nose of lemon, smoke, minerals, spices, pepper, chamomile, butter, and toast. There is so much going on, but the flavors are precise and clearly delineated. Perfect balance on the palate with medium-high acidity, more lemon notes, green apples, tart stone fruit, smoke, and a hint of vanilla. Very long finish. This is flirting with perfection. Phenomenally complex, what a wine!

May 14, 2022 - Initially this was incredibly dense, and pours with a thick viscosity. With air, the beautiful honied dense fruit shows, with great acidity to balance. The light/lifted style of Lamy shows up as the wine opens up after 3 hours of air. Wonderful wine.

August 21, 2020 - Casual Socially Distanced Burgundy Dinner (My home - Chicago IL): Very rich and concentrated as expected for the vintage, but also powerful and bright with exciting textures. Very good now.

December 26, 2018 - Opened 30 mins before serving. Gunflint, yellow fruit, smoke and salty minerals. For a ripe vintage, the wine had very good acidity. Long fiinish with lovely minerality. One of the best 12 white burg I had. 93-94

August 11, 2018 - Drank over two hours. Amazingly well balanced and intense with apple, pear and citrus notes. The acid, fruit, minerality and finish combine to make this an amazing wine--more the pity that I only thought to buy the one. I had a chance to visit the vineyard in 2016 and was struck by the high density plantings.

July 30, 2018 - I was shocked by the acidity of the 2012. A vintage I’ve always attributed riper and bolder fruit to. I didn’t know the vintage when I was poured so I thought @mkmaddog99 had brought the 2014. It had a pure line of cool sparkling acid that shot through to the finish. Didn’t have the weight I associate with 2012. So freaking pretty on the palate right now. Clean as a whistle fruit that’s ultra bright.
