  June 5, 2022 - Ripe and fresh nose of perfumed wild flowers, blackcherry, English tea, tar, exotic spices, wet stone. So energetic on palate with zesty acidity and transparent minerals. Bright sour cherry, dried flowers, hint of farmyard note, Vosne spices and well absorbed wood. Seductive and stylish. Shall evolved into something great with time.

  March 30, 2017 - Yep -- pretty much what Keith said in 2015. Good texture and elegance, which bodes reasonably positively. Try again late 2019.

  July 31, 2015 - Four x Fourrier (Black Salt): This was very good, but a disappointment alongside the other Fourriers tonight and in the context of what you'd expect from a Vosne-Romanee 1er cru with Fourrier's name on the label (negociant wine, admittedly). This is basically showing as an elegant and very purely fruited pinot noir, but there's no real sense of terroir here or any kind of the exotic spice character that Chaumes shows at its best.
