  March 25, 2024 - Unfortunately, I think I waited to long to drink this bottle. Much of the fruit was gone. It did benefit with a decant and the last glass was clearly the best. My score reflects price/value. For the cost of this bottle, and the professional reviews, I expected better.

  July 23, 2022 - Chalk it up to bottle variation or that I decanted this bottle, but this one was much better than a prior bottle I had several months ago. Notes of cherry and tobacco and smooth drinking.

  April 21, 2022 - Bibi Graetz Vertical Testamatta. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
  Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour with thin garnet rim. Legs.
  Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of soy earth, dark red plums, dark red cherries, dark forest, balsamic and spice. Developed.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, soft integrated high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of savoury earth with soy, dark red plums, dark red cherries, balsamic, toasty oak spices, cinnamon. Gum puckering long finish.
  Good quality. Fruit a little weak compared to earlier vintages. Time to drink up.

  August 14, 2021 - This was a big wine. Might have benefitted from a decant, which I'll try for my remaining bottle. As it was, it didn't offer enough complexity and roundness to merit the price.
