February 27, 2022 - Solid 82 BDX. Blinded and thought left bank. End of the session and not a ton of notes. Great fruit still and good structure. This bottle had not been moved since its purchase and it showed. Very well put together wine.

September 24, 2021 - Two famous names put together doesn't make a good wine, so this wine doesn't really have a good reputation, but what a positive surprise this was. Cassis, red bell peppers, pepperonata, dense, long and opulent. The good year shines through. Delightful!

September 19, 2020 - Second bottle and consistent with last year's note, plus violets and a refreshing touch of menthol. Fabulous straight out of the bottle, minimum decant, so balanced and with soft furry tannins, and even better than last years bottle. A half decanted for tomorrow so stay tuned. Day two and the refreshing touch of menthol is diminished. The wine is slightly more rustic but with a long satisfying finish. A ripe vintage with rich fruit but again lacking the alcoholic heat and density of modern wine making. Power with elegance, and the exotic flavour spectrum of Pomerol. Terrific wine!
