February 3, 2024 - Very happy with this wine. I bought it from my daughter’s birth year and it was the first bottle that I opened for her 12th birthday. Very inviting wine and more full bodied than I expected from Cullen. Open for business with many years to go

November 12, 2023 - Sadly my last bottle. Splash decantered and consumed over a couple of hours. Beautiful nose, fine tannin with a touch of graphite. Excellent wine. Bordeaux-esque. Touch and go for 96.

October 28, 2022 - Popped and poured. Medium garnet with some bricking. Cassis, sandalwood bouquet. Cassis on the palate with some spice, resinous notes. Long final, medium bodied. Very nice balance with great acidity tempering a slight sweetness and pulling the wine into focus. Tannins are fine but still noticeable.
This is my first bottle of 14 and was just a check in. This is looking to be a lovely wine - great poise and complexity. Suspect this will easily do another 10-15 years.1 person found this helpful Comment -

July 1, 2022 - Drinking very nicely, balanced and smooth. Velvety/powdery tannins. No rush to drink, will wait 12 to 24 months before opening another

May 24, 2022 - Dark berry fruit, iodine and plums on the nose; balanced palate with good viscosity, tannins ripe and well hidden by the fruit. Warm and long finish. Drank over several days. This one has a long life left it in it. I would try again in 3 to 5 years.
