January 24, 2020 - The 2002 Berg Rottland by Georg Breuer is a giant of Riesling: powerful, vital - still with a lot of pressure and great harmony in the nose and on the palate. Incredibly compact, firm and absolutely convincing in its clear, defined and deep aromas. Great Riesling! Still many years to go.

October 4, 2014 - Deep straw color. Very ripe, stewed fruit. Still has some structure, more apparent after some time in the glass. Finish is quite long. Seems very mature, perhaps a little past its prime.

February 28, 2013 - A private tasting (Vinothek Weingut Georg Breuer, Rüdesheim, Germany): Fully mature, hint of Firne (but bottle had been open for a while), balanced and stylish.

July 20, 2010 - Straw yellow color. Fresh aromas and very intense, pineapples, limes. High minerality with a long finish. Formidable.

January 5, 2009 - Superb minerality and delicacy.
