December 3, 2019 - Still going strong. Smooth, well-integrated, not too fruity, dry and a little astringent on the relatively short finish. delicious, chocolate. SWMBO says coffee and dirt and "90 points is a little generous". Nice Tuesday night wine for after crawling around in the attic fixing the furnace.
November 4, 2017 - Better with a little more age. Still got a few years at its peak.
May 21, 2017 - Red label holiday version of Gamut NV. 4th of 6 bottles. First bottle in Dec 2015 seemed a bit disjointed with some heat. Gave away bottles 2 and 3. Wish I had them back because bottle 4 was substantially better - well integrated fruit, ripe plum, cocoa, continued to improve over next 2 hours. Either there is some inconsistency among bottles or 18 months in the cellar worked wonders. Drink now.
April 9, 2017 - Decanted 1/2 hour. This was a strange combination of overripe and underripe fruits. It never really knit together well although the overripe flavors did fade about 2 hours in. Nose of plum, black cherry, vanilla, and mocha. Palate repeats the nose. Shortish finish. Drink now.
August 21, 2016 - My 15th and last bottle of this wine. It has been a great journey to say the least. Unfortunately this last bottle didn't live up to some of the others. There is some bottle variation, but maybe that is to be expected when blending different vintages together. This bottle was a little thinner and not as pronounced as others. Sad to see it be my last bottle. This wine is not meant to age and I see a lot of people still have some, drink up and enjoy!
July 7, 2016 - Some nice dark fruit flavors, but this bottle has 'heat' ... not that enjoyable.
