June 17, 2022 - Two years on from my last note, and with a 4 hour decant then drunk over the next 2 hours, this is the last bottle from my OWC6.

And I still don't get the love for this wine. It's still, as before, over-ripe, over hot, and generally not a great wine at all. Perhaps this is a very pure example of Parkerisation which is why it has so many fans here, but I really don't like it at all. It is very far from "proper" CdP and a horrible waste of ~US$300 for that OWC6.

December 15, 2021 - From magnum, 1 hour decant. During dinner, so no detailed notes; deep black cherry, licorice, very balanced, still feels young (albeit very drinkable and enjoyable!). Long finish

October 28, 2021 - Sublime. Deep dark smokey leather fruit bomb with a great lick of Syrah.

Taste in another year, two, five years time.. depending on the outcome of the year one tasting. 😉

Much more to explore as tannins further resolve.

The finish is long and memorable.

    Recommend.

October 18, 2021 - Decanted 3 hrs. Wine is smooth. Good mix of fruit favors, some chalk, not a fruit bomb. Drinking very nicely now.

May 15, 2021 - Drinking well now with no decant. Silky mouth feel, tart cherries, honestly faded a bit with air. Close to peak for me.
