December 14, 2023 - Aromatic of baked black cherries with herbs de Provence and some roasting meat and eucalyptus. The palate is quite rich, full-bodied with loads and loads of ripe black-fruit jams, prunes and spices. This is quite good and a fantastic foil to Chinese takeout! Drink now-2027 92

March 23, 2023 - This has finally blossomed into a wonderful, round, and nicely textured wine, with deep red and black fruit, licorice, and savory herbs. Drink 2023-2025. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.
December 25, 2022 - Tasted from magnum. Dark red robe, black cherry, currant, light plum, garrigue and touch of wood on the palette. Nothing over-extracted or baked. Very nice.
June 7, 2022 - Mature dark red color. Musty dark fruit and alcohol aroma. Meaty dark cherry, cranberry, and black pepper flavors with an oaky leathery finish.
February 10, 2022 - Disappointing much lighter then expected
December 5, 2021 - Consistent with notes a year ago. Still mostly closed, but fruit starting to parse out. Linear but balanced. Drink 2022-2024. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 90.
July 5, 2021 - Lots of licorice and garrigue. Dark red fruit. Nice acidity and texture. Doing nicely.
April 2, 2020 - Opened and decanted an hour ahead of grilled burgers and fixings. Dark purple-crimson. Nose brings lavender, garrigue, licorice, and mixed berry pie. The palate is full, square, supple, and compact, bringing deep blackcurrant and good dark and red fruit with savory soy, herbs, leather, cafe mocha, milk chocolate, and candied strawberries on the refined finish. Excellent QPR and will be best 2020-2026. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 91.
March 31, 2019 - Bit rough around the edges. Not sure if it ever will smoothen out. Would recommend to keep at least another 3 years before trying.
January 26, 2019 - Delicious. Took a little while in the bottle to open. Garrigue, earth, dark fruits, nice density, nice finish.
