December 8, 2019 - Like the previous three bottles, this is unnaturally nervous, maybe even with a slight prickle (especially on the finish); not undrinkable but not correct either. I bought a full case and I really liked the first four bottles, hopefully my remaining four bottles will be better.

July 29, 2019 - Very fresh and youthful, but not ease with itself. Unnaturally lifted, not really acetic, not really corked, not really refermenting in bottle, but also not really correct. Very estery finish. Not dissimilar to the bottle tasted in October 2018. Not rated. Retaste.

October 4, 2018 - VinoLaprisco Tasting (Restaurant De Karpendonkse Hoeve *, Eindhoven, Netherlands): Two bottles opened. Rather unsettled nose (some of the participants suspected TCA), good earth and iron Nuits character on the palate, but overall not a convincing showing. The Forey 2012’s seem to be behaving like spotty adolescents tonight.

June 8, 2018 - Continues to develop well, and this bottle has much better fruit than the bottle tasted in September 2017. The sweet but low-toast oak on the nose and finish is quite prominent, but it is attractive and in keeping with the character and style of the wine, as there is ample fruit, freshness and tannin to act as a buffer. Satiny texture, medium weight, nice stalky energy, pure and well-proportioned, starting to show some evolution, lovely balance and length. Has entered its drinking window, should last another 3-5 years with ease.

September 11, 2017 - This lovely wine is now really starting to come into its own, elegant and pure and floral, cool and mineral and with just enough iron to be recognisable as a Nuits, modest oak influence, very good length. My only reservation is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of ripe fruit around, especially for a 2012. Stylistically I don't mind, but will the wine remain balanced a few years down the road?
