December 9, 2019 - Two bottles opened. Both solid wines, but without any noticeable Vosne character or excitement.

October 4, 2018 - VinoLaprisco Tasting (Restaurant De Karpendonkse Hoeve *, Eindhoven, Netherlands): Two bottles opened. The first displayed an unidentifiable unevenness, but the second, although clean, is also uncommunicative and there is little or no Vosne character. It may need more time? Judgment suspended, provisional (conservative) score.

January 1, 2018 - A private dinner with friends (at home): Almost two years down the road since my previous note and it looks like a little more patience will be required. At present it is quite a cool and mineral burgundy, linear and precise, and the fruit seems ripe enough (just) to buffer the firm tannic backbone. The house style is clearly defined but I did not get a lot of Vosne typicity tonight. Hands off until the autumn of 2019.

February 21, 2016 - Young and initially very closed. After a few hours, a classic and aromatic Vosne nose emerges, with notes of roses, cherries, Asian spices and red earth; the palate however remains tight and structured, with a firm tannic backbone that will sustain the wine but needs time to release its grip and allow the ample fruit (cherry, grapefruit, cranberry, blood orange) to come to the fore. Balance and length are impeccable; the future looks bright. Drink from 2018/19 until 2027.
