January 21, 2014 - Drank over two nights, with and without food. According to the back label this is a blend of 60% Pinot Gris, 25% Riesling, and 15% Chardonnay. Pungent nose of pineapple, green melon and strawberries with a little cheddar cheese in the background. The palate is simultaneously bright and fleshy at the same time: there's nice acidity balanced with ripe concentrated fruit that fills the palate and coats the tongue. Decent length on the finish. Not a lot of complexity, but it's fresh and clean with no rough edges or noticeable flaws. The Riesling and Pinot Gris are noticeable on the nose, the Chardonnay is noticeable on the palate. Was actually more enjoyable alone as opposed to with food. Pleasantly surprised, would buy again.
