  November 30, 2020 - The wine shows a clear, medium, ruby red color with a hint of garnet at the rim. On the nose the wine is clear with medium intensity and it has developing aromas. It has aromas of violets, forest fruit, blackberry, black plums, green pepper, menthol, milk chocholate, cedar, vanilla (very light), balsamico, a hint of pencil shaving, dried blackcurrant and (damp) earth. The menthol is pretty dominant, especially on day two. On the palate the wine is dry, with medium acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium- finish. Flavors of blackberry, blackcurrant, menthol, black plum, milk chocholate, cedar. The quality of the wine is good and should be drunk now. It is very smooth and balanced, but is missing intensity. All the flavors are there, but just not that much. I'm missing the wow-factor, but considering the price (13 euros at auction) I'm not unhappy.

  October 17, 2018 - Dried plum, chocolate and forest undergrowth. This is starting to develop into maturity and I really enjoy the phase it is in right now. High acidity, medium/mid-low tannins. Offers both more complexity and length than it should based on the price tag!

  January 17, 2016 - Importer tasting: In the bouquet ripe cassis. On the palate juicy dark forest fruits, pleasant acidity and very supple and round tannin. Some length. Ok wine.
