October 23, 2023 - dzoned1 below nails this one. Great QPR and a pleasure to drink now and I think still some future. Certainly has not faded over the last two years. Wish I had bought more.

February 24, 2022 - Kind of dank initially, with a hint of red berries and rose petals on the nose. After 30 minutes in the glass, it evolves into a gorgeous, sliky smooth delight with strawberry, raspberry and tart cherry on the palate. Slightly grippy tannins, but overall, a fantastic bottle.

November 27, 2018 - I liked this quite a bit. The Vespolina and Croatina grapes in this soften and lift the Nebbiolo. Time to drink these.

July 9, 2017 - Definitely improved with age. Solid bottle of wine paired with gamey white meat or steak.

February 22, 2017 - plummy magenta transparent color with faint bricking. tar and petals on the nose. pink peppercorns. sweet red fruit. something like green pepper, even. light and finessed with plenty'o cherry in the mouth. round finish leads to faint dusty tannins then trails into a little black pepper. that hit the spot.

January 6, 2017 - dark ruby red with light bricking on the edges. toasted firewood, red apple peel, clove, red dirt, and wet rose on the nose. palate moderately acidic and medium bodied. savory flavors of muted, just underripe cherry, chives, and earth. fine tannin gets the middle tongue and leaves a mid length finish.

February 24, 2016 - very good bottle of wine, nice acid and dark red fruit. Good food wine that improved with chicken parm.

    November 1, 2015 - * (almost **)

    C: Nebbiolo red-brown
P: Light to medium body. Dark cherries with a hint of bitterness. Still young and a bit tannic. Improved from the first bottle, drunk 5/14, which I didn't care for.
TN for the first bottle 5/14:
    C: Nebbiolo red-brown
P: Light to medium body. Has an odd flavor, at least at first. Delicate with good balance and length.
On finishing the bottle, I don’t really care for this. Maybe it would improve with a few (five?) years rest. But for now, forget it!
    1/13/18:
Reasonably good and seemingly mature now, but it doesn't grab me.
