  December 9, 2023 - Maturing wonderfully. Black tea and cherries. Good now, has a while left to go.

  September 4, 2023 - Deep red center, red rim with some signs of age.
  Sweet, red currants and anise, sweet red cherries, orange pekoe tea and smoke.
  Smooth, some mint, bing cherries, some bright acidity, nutty stewed fruit, black tea, fantastic long finish.
  Excellent Selyem Westside. Drinking very well at 11 years of age. Will evolve further over the next 5 years, but probably at a peak now.

  August 26, 2023 - Initialy very nice dark cherry aromatics, but seemed to fade fairly quickly, taking on an older, fading note. Drink up.

  June 1, 2023 - An absolutely phenomenal pinot noir by a cult producer. First time trying one with this much age in it. Plentiful elegance in spades, with prominent strawberries, flowers and more. Enough acidity to pair nicely with dry aged smoked duck and held up to some spicy broccolini with squid, and late spring early summer greens and morels with a rich salted butter sauce. There was still a hint of oak but not as noticeable at this stage (compared to the 2021 Eastside tasted a week+ back).
