May 23, 2022 - A delicious classic zin, dark fruits, earthy and spicy. Balanced with soft tannins. Not hot despite 15.8 % ABV. One of the lower priced Turley zins, so an excellent value. Despite being past the drinking window this bottle seemed in its prime.

July 22, 2021 - Fragrant, earthy nose of dark fruit, potting soil, cocoa powder, bell pepper, mushroom, and black tea, well balanced palate of ripe blueberries and blackberries with additional notes of black pepper, leather, tobacco, dried herbs, and dark chocolate, well-integrated, powdery tannins, lengthy finish. Excellent QPR.

February 23, 2020 - Years to go. Classic Zin at its best. Rich, smooth, Spicey and elegant. If you want real zin and you want the best this is it.

November 6, 2018 - This was just kind of dead, dark grape nose with flat flavors of bitter chocolate, cherry and lots of drying tannin. Drink now.
