October 20, 2018 - Nice and mellow, not too oily in texture. Nowhere near the end state.

October 12, 2015 - The last, and least satisfying, of my bottles. Not bad or defective, it's well-balanced and there's nothing off-putting about it, but it's also quite boring. I just can't find the complexity that was there in some of the other bottles.

June 13, 2015 - Straw color. Lots of "diesling" on the nose. The petro is still there on the palate, but not as prominent and well balanced by honey, yellow apples, vanilla, oregano and dried mint. Moderately sweet, medium acid bordering on M-. Slightly over the top, but the slope isn't very steep judging from how it was a year ago.

June 15, 2014 - Doftar aprikos, honung, lätt blommigt och lite diskret av petroleum. Inte jättesöt, frisk syra och vettig koncentration. Kunde önskat lite mer djup och komplexitet men det är hur som helst väldigt gott.

June 8, 2014 - This is finely balanced, 8 % alcohol and has lots of freshly cut tropical fruit on the nose and palate. Perhaps priceworthy but lack somehow complexity.

June 7, 2014 - Deep gold colour. Glorious, stinky petroleum nose with candied apples and crushed rock. There's a note of cinnamon-sprinkled custard as well. Medium bodied on the palate, with piercing fresh acidity, a broad spectrum of flavours of apples of all kinds and colours. Long, lingering finish, minerals and apples come back to haunt. In great shape at the moment and I honestly think this doesn't require any more cellaring. Very fine

May 16, 2014 - Initialt tydlig doft av petroleum och tropiska frukter som övergår mer och mer till honung/bivax allt eftersom temperaturen i glaset stiger. Sött och gott. Funkar definitivt till en söt bärig/fruktig dessert.

May 9, 2014 - First sniffs reveal typical riesling tropical fruits and (predominantly) minerality, "wet rocks". On the palate, we have good acidity and fairly low (perceived) sweetness for an auslese - although probably quite deceptively so, as it stood up well against the strawberry pie consumed alongside it. Mouthfeel is rather creamy. There's also a bit of vanilla and slight but persistent hints of that lovely, lovely riesling petroleum.

With a bit of air and warming, herbal tones surface: Oregano, dill, and mint. With even more air and warmth, a floral, perfumed component emerges - quite pungent, and we just can't determine if it is lavender, tulips, roses, lilac or something else we're sensing. I wish I'd had a larger bottle so I could have followed the development of this lovely wine for a longer time.
