January 14, 2018 - This wine is right in it's prime for drinking. Very well balanced with minerality, acid and fruit. Meyer lime, slate, gravel, honey and barely a hint of oak to give it slight richness. Paired well with sand dabs, abalone and herbed jadori chicken that we had for dinner. Want more.

August 27, 2017 - Lemon curd, cumin, and yellow plum on the nose. Vibrant core of sweet fruit on the palate, lively under layer of acid moving into a glowing, lingering finish. Beautifully put together, full of taut energy. 50 + 17 + 17 + 9 = 93.

August 13, 2017 - At first pop, nice fruity candied meyer lemon on the nose that blows off after a few minutes. Nose settles down to a typical Cali Chard - lots of citrus, with some alcohol and a touch of concrete minerality. Very high acidity and well integrated alcohol. The palate is all citrus up front, with a mid-palate of bitter lemon rind and medium-long finish with a hint of vanilla. This wine is elevated by the mouth-feel. It has a delicate, silky texture that significantly enhances the drinking experience without food. With food, could be an excellent pairing with a citrus marinated pork loin. This is big enough to handle a few more years in the cellar, but is definitely in its drinking window now. Enjoy!

July 24, 2017 - Aromas of lemon, white flowers, oyster shells. Mellifluous fruit on the palate with crisp acid support and a slight vanilla after note. Pleasant drinking, a little slap-dash. 50 + 16 + 15 + 8 = 89.

May 17, 2017 - Citrus on the nose. Crisp and refreshing, maybe a touch of green apple and lemon zest. Not big and overbearing (as I HATE that in Cali Chards) but refreshing, medium bodied, tasty.
