November 8, 2023 - Similar to previous bottles, but on steroids. Oak is still there with a deft touch of oak, white fruits, and butterscotch has made an appearance. I’m thinking the first bottle that was so cloudy was an aberration as this again was clear throughout. 95+

August 2, 2023 - Now we're talking! Put my Rhys wines on accelerated drink list due to 3-4 bottles of chard and syrah having to be dumped down the sink due to premature oxidation due to flawed corks. With several recent Cellartracker reviews showing oxidation, I was not confident, but this one was finally a winner. Beautiful hue and aroma showed right away that this one would meet a much better fate. Clear and light gold, no hint of browning. Beautiful pear and stone fruit on the palate. Not enough to completely restore my faith, but very happy tonight.

    February 10, 2023 - With Sushi….from 500 ml.
Funky/ slightly Oxd upon opening but it mostly blew off.
Nice minerality but not anything like I see in other notes.
This was from the original shipment release.
    Will be opening another soon.
This is my 4th bottle but have not taken notes previously .
