November 26, 2020 - Thanksgiving dinner hit. Amazing complexity and hands down one of the best Oregon pinots I have ever had. Could easily cellar 5-10 more years.

March 20, 2020 - From ($400 at winery) magnum. Screams brett! Barnyard, wet horse and burnt Rhone bloodiness. Sort of, kind of blows off to show black fruit, but doesn't really. Will see what Day 2 looks like.
Day 2: Slightly softer, but still barnyard on top of blackberries. Wine is NOTHING like tasted from 750ml at winery a few yrs ago.1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 27, 2019 - C-Note night (Ray and Teresa's): Decanted several hours. Big, fruity, dense, but not cloying at all. This is a powerhouse, and I hope it stays balanced for a few years, because it needs the cellar time.

October 19, 2019 - Ray & Teresa's Wine Dinner (Minneapolis, MN): Decanted several hours. Fragrant wine! Red berries, spice, earth, perfume and cherry. A bit hot in the glass but settled into form 20 minutes later. This wine has a long life ahead and I could see this improving a lot. Young. 92 to 96 points.

September 3, 2018 - At the winery, can't find my detailed tasting notes. Was clearly superior and drinking better than the tighter Vintage 37 (2014) and the tired bottle of Vintage 32 (2009) tasted.
