June 2, 2023 - PnP but definitely better after 15-20 minutes of air. In the glass it was a dark violet color, and there were lots of dark fruits on the nose. The medium plus bodied palate showed a bowl of purple fruits: mostly blue from the Syrah (77%), with some red from the Grenache (12%),and some black from the Mourvedre (11%). These were joined by lots of spice, some earth notes and just touches of chocolate and cedar. The tannins were resolved, and the acidity was up to the job of balancing everything, resulting in a nicely smooth and integrated wine that may continue to hold at this level for a few more years.

February 12, 2023 - A nose of bold dark fruits and spice, dark purple in color. A full bodied Rhone blend, with black cherry, raspberry, minerals and spice on finish, drink now. www.winelx.com

May 29, 2021 - This is a very enjoyable Syrah based GSM from Paso Robles.

Showing black fruits with earth, wood, spices, dark chocolates, vegetables, tobacco, peppercorn and espresso.

    Pretty nose of wild flowers.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, as it it not as approachable right out of the bottle, so take your time.

Good by itself or with food. Delicious now.

A blend of 77% Syrah, 12% Grenache and 11% Mourvedre.

    15.2% alcohol by volume.

    91 points.

    $70.

December 13, 2020 - I poured the first half into a half bottle for night two before filling night one’s glass. There was cloudy sediment that didn’t filter out completely after a couple trys. Nice color and smelled inviting. Tasted pleasant but kinda washed out. The texture of the sediment was bothersome though. Overall disappointing. Night two was better, sediment was very minimal and appearance was remarkably better. Nose was tight and focused and the grip of the Grenache came through on thie finish. Should’ve drank years ago. At $65, terrible value.

September 23, 2020 - No improvement. Simple, short, overripe wine. Yeccchh. Clipped finish. Horrible QPR. I purchased 4 bottles on a review. Never again. Apparently no longevity, drink up.
