September 11, 2022 - Deep, greenish-gold color. Fragrant nose of lemon and vanilla. Lush on the palate with sharp accent notes, lemons, melons. Beautiful acidity and gorgeous balance. Brighter and more pronounced lemon notes with air. Good minerality. Spicy on the mid-palate. Finishes moderately long and lush. Should drink well for 6 to 8 more years.

February 5, 2021 - Good nose of lemon, orange, and good minerality. Medium acidity with lemon oil, white flowers, and saline notes on the palate. Good finish. Decent CA Chardonnay.

January 9, 2021 - This was a lovely wine to hand off to friends and family. Rich yellow apple and lemon fruit blends well off of saline and chalky, graham cracker tones. Insane complexity, and so fresh and long-lived. Love it.

December 7, 2019 - Brought to a chardonnay tasting. Decent bottle but not a rebuy.

November 17, 2019 - Jeff liked, Kevin didn't think it tasted like Chardonnay - too sweet.

July 16, 2018 - One of my favorite Copain bottlings that always evolves with more time in the bottle. Drinking well now

July 23, 2017 - Tasted as part of a Brosseau chard vertical we did with Wells @ the winery. 13.4% ABV. This vintage seems rich to me, lacking the green apple of the 2011. Spicy, yet softer quality and some lemony acidity that drinks pretty accessible. I drank my last bottle of this in 2014, and while I enjoyed this, it doesn't have the energy of the other vintages within the vertical we tasted.

December 20, 2016 - This wine showed a bit more vanillin notes than I prefer. The red apple and pear flavors are supported by some slight minerality. Good acidity as well, drink this wine now through 2018. Would not buy this again, ESPECIALLY at $50/bottle.

    May 30, 2015 - PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs
    -translucent pale yellow
-somewhat restrained, salt water, lemon, slight hint of tropical fruit
-med/med+ acidity, med- weight but quite sappy mid-palate concentration that highlights structure more than fruit composed of a bit of citrus and mint, ok complexity and length
-not profound but lovely, Old World styled, lots of life ahead of it

March 19, 2015 - Blind guessed cali chard.

Fruit aromas are pear and red apple and there's a tiny "chemical" note which is difficult to place, could be alcohol or maybe something else. Palate shows the fruit and a little caramel. Oaky resin at the finish. I little too much wood for me taste but enjoyable.
