March 25, 2024 - Still bright red cherry, faintly candied, nicely spiced. Good depth and balance, other than the faint sweet hints that are more overt than I’d consider ideal.

October 26, 2022 - Ripe and lush black cherry, cherry cola and baking spice. There is a good richness with good enough depth, just slightly sweeter than I would consider ideal. Still bright and nicely fresh.

July 15, 2022 - Red berry, red cherry, mineral and earth on the nose. A bit more depth on the nose than the 2016 Walter Scott Seven Springs Pinot noir it was tasted alongside. Slightly over medium bodied (14.5% ABV) with red cherry showing both openness and roundness upfront, matched with just a bit of high-toned red cherry for a pretty contrast. Adds red berries and slightly darker red cherry through the middle. Balanced spice notes, earth and minerals on the backside along with tart red cherry and cranberry. Mid-body shows excellent depth and even better balance. The transition from mid-body to finish is nicely integrated and the fine grained tannins on the backside provide structure. Overall, this wine's strength is it's balance; good depth, pretty fruit, good complexity and harmonious with the backside tart notes and structural elements. This wine is in a very good spot currently and while I don't see potential for further improvement, it should be able to hold this high level over the next 18+ months.

August 24, 2019 - As good a Pinot as I have had in years. To be clear, it lacks th classic Pinot characteristics, which makes it favorable for me. Super well-rounded right now, richer body than many Pinots, again to my preference.
