September 17, 2021 - Tremendous potential. Nowhere near ready to drink. I think it needs at least five more years in the cellar. Still tight and not showing a ton, but enough to know this will be a special bottle with time.

May 24, 2021 - Been doing quite a bit of checking in on the 2011 vintage across various producers, and can add this one to the 'solid performer' list. Showing primarily dark berries and a bit of cocoa at this time after a 1 hour decant. Feels like the fruit may be fading a bit, so agree with the drinking window that this is probably at peak or moving slightly beyond at this point.

I have one more in the cellar and will likely plan to drink it within the next year. Drink up and enjoy!

April 4, 2020 - Finally trying a Realm... of course it’s a 2011(my only one) so not exactly the best vintage to make an overall judgement. I was hoping though that if the 2011 was great then it would be a clear sign to start looking for some better years (assuming I can lift my wine buying ban at some brighter future date ). Anyway this was okay I guess. More on the red fruit side with savory and cedar notes. My wife liked this more than me but I just couldn’t get into it. Of course the fact I was in a corona inspired bad mood might have had something to do with it.

November 22, 2019 - Dark berries, blackberry, blueberry and boysenberry. Mocha and a hint of mint. Long finish. In a good spot now and I don’t feel it will improve from here.
