September 6, 2020 - The cork was soft and difficult to get out in one piece, but I did. Very similar to last time - still fragrant, delicate, and tasty. Very fresh and not showing its age at all.

May 21, 2018 - A lot of tartrates around the cork. Transparent, salmon-tinted garnet. Strawberry cream and spice nose. Medium bodied, crushed raspberries, light tart cranberries, some heat, well integrated soft tannins, good acid, mint, and a tangy medium to long finish. Delicate and tasty.

January 12, 2018 - This paired perfectly with Anita's home made enchiladas and molé sauce. Not an easy food to pair wine with, but this light red fruit forward spicy wine really does the trick.

December 29, 2017 - Spicy goodness. A light drinker that goes well on it's own or with food.

March 12, 2017 - Highly enjoyable either as a sipping wine or with food. Bright ripe red fruit with succulent grenache spices flavors that linger beautiful on the finish.

July 6, 2016 - Definitely lighter style like others have mentioned, but don't really see that as a problem personally, although perhaps it is a surprise given this producer. Transparent garnet color with a touch of bricking at the edges. Aromas of red fruits, white pepper, tar, and some earth and floral sitting underneath. Light to medium body, medium acid and finish, and flavors of red and dark red fruits, black tea, and some orange peel. Fairly fruit forward and uncomplicated, but enjoyable with lighter fare. Tonight we had it with quinoa and chili stuffed tomatoes and it worked well. The wife was a fan.

May 31, 2016 - No notes but we enjoyed with pizza. Bright and fruity with distinct vanilla notes -- but nothing obnoxious. More on the red fruit side, easy drinking and a good value at $19 from Last Bottle.

February 6, 2016 - At Miner Family Winery today, first time to taste this wine, nose of dark red fruit, more of the same on the palate, simple, tasty, medium body, rich and forward fruit, long finish.

February 4, 2016 - A perfectly serviceable Grenache purchased from the Last Bottle Marathon. As many others mentioned it is very light. Light in color, light in body and light in flavor. While light it doesn't have any particular off notes and at sale price is a fine midweek bottle.
