  September 18, 2022 - Dark as night. Very rich dark fruit with coffee and mint in place of the brine I find in most Barberas. Dry textured black cherry and berry flavours and a dry acid driven finish.

  September 18, 2022 - Coop's. Deep color in the glass, dense and lush on the nose and palate with dark fruit, mint and cocoa. Classy, and the not the country brute barbera has the reputation for being (but of course, it's Conterno, so duh).

  September 4, 2022 - From Magnum. Opened for 3 hours. Color is deep garnet/purple/black. On the nose: Cherry, vanilla, red berries and violets. On the palate: Cherry liquor, vanilla, dark chocolate, tart red berries and tar. This is a really great Barbera. The initial flavors are dense and lush. I was really in the mood for a Barbera or Dolcetto to go with our spaghetti with red sauce. I am very happy.
