August 2, 2022 - (Decanted for one hour)
Deep red with a brick red hue and a lovely maturing nose showing leather, mint and grass and opens up with violets and some liquorice. Smooth tannins on the palate with warm red fruitiness and starting to show some dried herbs on the lengthy and balanced finish. This was drinking very well tonight and matched the grilled filet mignon perfectly.

September 16, 2021 - Served at dinner with friends. Cherry and rose notes. Unfortunately drank side by side with a Super Tuscan that stole the limelight. This Brunello was good but lacked a strong character across the board.
July 26, 2020 - (Decanted for one hour)
Deep red colour with a brick red rim and a sweetness on the palate with fully evolved tannins and some dried herbs and a nice and lengthy finish showing a good structure.
This is ready to drink and matching tonight’s grilled meat perfectly.

October 20, 2019 - Decanted for an hour, ready now, still a few fine tannins remain. Medium body, some bricking round the rim but the centre is still bright and vibrant red, there’s a fresh savoury tang to the cherry fruit, decent finish. A good all round performance here in a warm vintage. 15%
