May 8, 2016 - Crisp, cool and a little bit aged, which tempers things a but and is no bad thing. Young verdejo can be a little aggressive. At the end of its drinking window but this is drinking well and makes you hanker for a zinc top bar in Madrid, with a racion of gambas. A solid 87-88.
October 31, 2015 - Yellow with a touch of green
Ripe lemon, mowed lawn, wet stones and a little sweetness from tropical fruits
Good mouthfeel ripe lemon, nice acid , wet stones, nice flow on palate medium length.
Overall good, but not great
December 30, 2014 - Crisp and pleasant. Consumed in a lovely atmosphere but not one conducive to complete evaluation!
November 15, 2014 - Light yellow colour. Although it is Verdejo, the nose suggests a Sauvignon (crossed with Garganega), i.e. cat pee, gooseberry, green apples, but no cassis. Good minerality. Fruit forward, but rather dry. Very fresh, good, well balanced acidity. Good summer wine for fish.
September 15, 2014 - Medium to medium plus bodied dry white with a decent amount of acidity. Fresh stone and tropical fruits. Medium length.
July 17, 2014 - Holiday Spanish Wines 2014; 7/4/2014-7/21/2014: A decent wine, clean and fresh, but somewhat nondescript, which is not atypical for entry level Rueda in my experience. 13%.
June 21, 2014 - Light lemon color. Intense nose of grapefruit, tropical fruits, and mountain herbs. Full bodied and silky on the palate with excellent balance and length. 90+ pts.
June 18, 2014 - Wines from Spain (Athens Hilton Hotel): Medium yellow-green. Explosive nose with tropical fruits like papaya, guava, mango, pear and green scents. Medium-bodied with rich fruit and balancing acidity. Good length. A wine to pair mostly with Asian cuisine.
