October 3, 2021 - A nice and fruity wine, but a bit middle of the road for my taste.

September 29, 2021 - With bold fruit flavors and accents of sweet spice, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre form the base of the classic Rhone. Nice fruit on the nose, well balanced and surprisingly held together for a 2012.

September 29, 2021 - bold fruit flavors and accents of sweet spice, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre form the base of the classic Rhône Red . Well balanced, nice fresh fruit on the nose and pallet. Surprise how well the 2012 held up.

November 17, 2020 - followed a California Grenache, and the Syrah was evident. Subdued nose, but only decanted 2 hrs, more would help. full-bodied, Still young, good stuff.

May 29, 2019 - I’ve always consumed Rasteau young. What a treat to drink one with a bit of age. Pnp with a vinturi. Medium ruby. Dark fruits and spice box on the nose. Matching flavors on the palate. Rich and textured but definitely not sweet. 10-15 second finish. Paired nicely with Asian glazed pork. Solid QPR. Glad I have a few more to open in coming years.

May 6, 2018 - let it breath in glass for about 3o minutes. The wine looks deep crimson colored. The legs are slow. It smells like blueberry, raspberry, black currant (cassis), strawberry jam and mushroom. Dry rich deep extraction. could age another 10 year IMO. Great with steak. superb value wish I had bought more

September 25, 2015 - My first Rasteau. while it has my beloved black berry earthy profile, it totally lacks texture, making it too sweet. Reminds me of Corbieres/Languedoc. For dessert I had an LBV port which was less sweet than this wine.

August 11, 2015 - I've had a few Rasteau's including those from Jerome Bressy but I prefer this one. This one hits all cylinders. Don't agree with Wine57's interpretation of light taste for a Rhone because it has a deep concentrated flavor profile with loads of black fruits and an extremely smooth finish. This is a wine that once you open one you will be hitting the cellar for another.

June 25, 2015 - Super wine, great QPR - rich, fruity, with a little spice. Well balanced. Opened one bottle with a few friends, then another, and then another!
