January 26, 2023 - Power and huge promise on the nose of this patiently-cellared Baby Grange. The layered palate is something special, incredibly harmonious, with a smoothness and depth that somehow disguise the 14.5% alcohol. The tannins are unobtrusive and the oak beautifully integrated. The quality of the Cabernet and expertise in the blending here make it quite reminiscent of great Claret from top vintages. Bought at release years ago, this is not inexpensive wine, but it’s very good value.

November 5, 2022 - First time trying any vintage of Bin 389 so wasn’t sure what to expect. Expected a bit more of a fruit bomb if anything, but it was quite refined in my opinion. Great concentration. Nose reminded me of a mature left bank Bordeaux. Decanted 5 hours and I think it needed it, was still evolving by the last glass. Will be buying more, but not necessarily this vintage.

October 21, 2022 - I don't recall any wine with such a load of blue berries in both smell and taste.
This is simply wonderful. I like blue color!
The second thing - the tannins are so deliciously baked with taste that it takes your breath away.
Third thing - I can recognize about a dozen different aromas and flavors in red wine, and virtually all of them are here! It would be boring to list them all, but wine is not only about smell and taste, but also about harmony, balance, something quite elusive and it's all here.
This wine is magical in my small world of fermented red juice1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 8, 2022 - In a good position right now. Good fruit with decent length. Tannins are nicely integrated.
